The Habla team are experienced in the industry as well as with the technology itself. Key members include:

GILBERT W HABLA : MANAGING DIRECTOR

Gilbert HablaGilbert has over 40 years experience in brick kiln design, construction and operation of Habla, Hoffman and Tunnel kilns. Broadly experienced in brick manufacturing, brick machine installation, plant commissioning, modification and maintenance.

Gilbert’s father invented the first Habla Kiln in Europe. Gilbert has been a United Nations Registered Consultant in brick making.


PETER COCKBURN : PROJECT MANAGER

Peter CockburnWith an honours degree in Civil Engineering and 45 years experience in heavy engineering and the construction and building industries, Peter has a wealth of analytical and project management skills.

He has been directly associated with numerous major engineering undertakings throughout Australia. He has presented a number of engineering papers, and has been responsible for evolving significant innovative solutions to engineering problems.


DARRELL REEVE : ENVIRONMENT CONSULTANT & MANAGING DIRECTOR OF CLEANER PRODUCTION AUSTRALIA

Darrell ReeveWith formal qualifications in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Production management and Metal Finishing, Darrell has had 45 years commercial and consultancy experience.

He is a consultant to the United Nations and chairs the United Nations Metal Finishing Global Technology Network. Darrell is also a Senior lecturer at Victoria University.
