The successful conclusion of the in-depth research study is a significant achievement for the Energy Efficient Clay Brick (EECB) Project, a CBA initiative funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented in South Africa by Swisscontact.

The mission began in Port Elizabeth and ended in Pretoria, where the Colombian delegation was able to visit Algoa Brick, Rheebok Brick, Worcester Brick (Habla Zig-Zag Kiln), Apollo Brick and Rosema Brick.

Habla Zig-Zag Kilns recently completed construction of the first Habla Kiln in South Africa
The Habla Team commenced construction of the energy efficient Habla Zig-Zag Kiln, in South Africa's Western Cape, early October 2015. The Habla Kilns construction is well underway and scheduled for completion early 2016.
On the 7th September 2015, the Habla Team commenced a week long work shop in Worcester, South Africa. HZZKI met with the team from Worcester Bakstene brick company and members of Swisscontact and their Energy Efficient Clay Brick Project (EECB).
The Nepalese governments Industrial Promotions Board grants license approval to HZZKI for the implementation of energy efficient Habla Brick Kiln Technology to Nepal. Further reading in the Kathmandu Post click here...
